Daily School Schedule

8:00 AM - Classes Begin
9:30 AM to 9:45 AM - Recess
11:05 AM to 12:05 PM - Lunch
1:25 PM to 1:40 PM - Recess
2:30 PM - Dismissal

Please inform the school at 613-825-0092 ext 500 if your child is going to be absent or late arriving at school. Our message machine is on to receive messages at all times. Please state your child's name, teacher, reason and duration of absence.

To ensure your child's safety and protection, if you plan to pick him/her up early, we ask that you send a note to the teacher regarding the details of early dismissal, come to the office to meet your child and sign our "out" log book.

During the morning, yard supervision begins at 7:50.

For parents picking children up at school at the end of the day, we ask that they wait outside at one of our exits.

For obvious safety reasons we ask that parents not go to their child's classroom either during the morning or after school. If you need to speak to a teacher, call ahead and we can make an appointment for you.

All visitors must sign in at the office.

Safety and patience are essential when driving in our parking lot. Please make sure you are parked in a parking spot when picking up or dropping students off. We would also ask that drivers slow down when entering and exiting the parking lot. We are suggesting parents and guardians use our pick up and drop off zone located on Claridge Drive. A perfect zone to kiss and ride!

In the event of a major snow or ice storm, the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board will have any cancellations of bus routes announced by 6:15 a.m. on the following local radio and televion stations:
Radio: CFRA News, Majic 100, BOB-FM, The Team, Oldies 1310, Kiss FM, Chez 106, Y101, The Bear, CBC Radio, CHRI-FM
Television: CJOH-TV, The New RO News
As a reminder, when bus routes are cancelled in the morning, they are cancelled for the whole day and students who are dropped off in the morning need to be picked up at 2:30 p.m.
